KitSit Protection — Terms & Conditions
1. Coverage Overview
KitSit Protection provides up to £1,000,000 in liability coverage for each confirmed booking made through the KitSit platform. Coverage begins when the sitter checks in via GPS and ends when the booking period concludes.
2. Eligibility
All bookings made through KitSit that include the £4.00 protection fee are automatically covered. Both the cat owner and the sitter are protected under this policy.
3. What Is Covered
- Emergency veterinary care for the cat(s) during the sitting period (up to £2,500 per incident)
- Accidental property damage caused by the sitter
- Third-party liability claims
- Key replacement costs
4. What Is Not Covered
- Pre-existing medical conditions of the cat(s)
- Damage caused by the cat(s) to the sitter's property
- Incidents occurring outside the confirmed booking period
- Intentional harm or gross negligence
- Bookings arranged outside the KitSit platform
5. Claims Process
Claims must be filed within 48 hours of the incident via the in-app Incident Report feature. Supporting documentation (photos, vet receipts, police reports) must be submitted within 14 days. KitSit reserves the right to investigate all claims before approval.
6. Deductible
Claims under £500 have no deductible. Claims over £500 are subject to a £50 deductible.
